MIHAELA NICOLAU - Romania Green Building Council An engineer by training, Ms. Nicolau has extensive experience in both front office and back office operations of successful international hotels. In addition, she has design experience with renewable energy solutions. She discussed green innovations for the hospitality industry.

In this presentation, together with ALI TAHER - CEMS Technologies - discussed hotel automations and creative engineering.

The objective of this workshop was to engage the hotel industry and its service and product suppliers in a discussion about the opportunity and importance of a more environmentally responsible approach to designing, renovating, and operating their properties.
