How to construct a greenhouse from recuperated materials and purchased polythene. For help and info - http://thegreenlever.blogspot.com/ Three models, made on the same principles of construction. The most expensive - made from recycled windows and pallet wood, will cost more if you purchase the leaded light and the wooden posts. With water shortages, uncertain weather and now the added problems of continuing fallout from Fukushima - you can provide yourself and family with all year round vegetables, fruit and flowers. Anybody with the ability to assemble flat pack furniture can get to grips with this design in its cheapest form. The largest greenhouse - which has passive solar heating, is a more difficult project. Start small - work up!
Commencez petit, devenez grand!

I realize what you trying to say...but someone will see the video an say "Hey but i don't have pallet wood laying arround etc"...i just wanted to say that it costed you 5e...not everybody else who may use your video as a guide to setting up their own garden.

and bdw i didn't have a intention to insult you. If i did i'm sorry.

  • @drdrun11 No problem. You are very lucky to live in a country that maybe is not so wasteful as here. So many coutries have loads of waste like pallet wood, which ends up in landfill or burnt on bonfires. Our house is completely fitted out with doors and windows, some hard woods/double glazed and only a few years old, which were thrown out for new plastic ones. My videos are all about reusing stuff in general, saving money and hopefully saving the planet. Good Luck and I appreciate your comments!

  • I'm really like the idea of making everything yourself but you can't say that this cost only 5 euro.

you had everything and than you added 5 euro for some stuff...

i support projects like theese but just say the truth...

    bdw...happy growing...

    (:

  • @drdrun11 Hi, This greenhouse did only cost 5 Euros in fact in reality it cost even less. If you read the text you will find the wood was free, i.e it was pallet wood. The wire netting was from the tip/dump i.e free. The plastic cost me Euros 3.50 and I didn't use the whole sheet. I used very few fixings (i.e. screws and hinges), many of them were reclaimed.. What would be the point of lying? I want to help people, who like us try to live simply on a very small budget. Best Wishes Andy
