@jayleesan - you installed Unbuntu 9.10 om Packard Bell Dot M/A, you think 10.10 will run ok? I have one with vista home and want to change to Unbuntu Netbook version, just not sure if it will work. Thanks

I'm using this netbook for over a year now, upgraded with an SSD and running Ubuntu 9.10 on it. Younger versions of Ubuntu have issues with the display driver (it's a shame). I carry it around in my handbag for some mobile word-processing and image editing. I love my netbook with it's 1360x768 LED screen!

A big con. IMHO is the extended battery.

I'm wondering if there's a new battery model available wich is smaler, without compromizing the capacity.

:/ someone help , i was looking at netbooks, and i thought i wil buy a wireless internet usb that will link by wifi to my 02 modem, will the usb stick work on the netbook as it has no disk drives? please help thanks :)

You showed us that it has a Windows key and then explained it wouldn't run Linux. My girlfriend's computer has the same key and I am using Linux right now. Did you try running Linux on it?
