Served with Co D 229th AHB, 1st Cave as NCOIC Helicopter Repair Parts Jan 70-Dec 70. Extended tour 6 months. I came back Jan 71-Aug 71. Volunteered for newly formed F Troop 1Sqdr 1/9th Cav as door gunner on OH-6A LOH as part of Hunter Killer Team (1 LOH and 2 Cobras. Am now retired through VA disability (80%) PTSD exposure to Agent Orange. Not a day go by Im not thinking about my brothers left behind in Vietnam and my brothers and sisters in Afghanistan.
