Yeh, well done Chris Hoy. Ok, he's Scottish, hell so am I,but I live in England and Chris' training was mainly done in England and other places. It's great to be Scottish but let's not crawl up our own arse on this one. He represented Britain in the Worlds and Olypics and although a product of Scotland, belongs to everyone. That's why he'e won this. The end.

I better see a british athlete winning the gold medal , rather than seeing a french athlete crowned as world champion , the french are too arrogant , i cant stand them , plus their commentators , from start to finish , they just talk on their athletes !!! wtf is that ??

I've heard that Chris Hoy's legs are so strong that if he cycled backwards the rotation of planet earth would be reversed... honest!

i was not meaning it in a bad way, just thought the choice of song was a bit weird for the british team. it has been known for some english people to think they are britain n no other countries exsist, not that i am accusing you of that.

Thanks! But don't forget that a large proportion of Chris Hoy's votes would of come from 'English' peeps as they make up the bulk of the U.K population. So most 'English' people find the Scottish, Irish, Welsh thing totaly irrellevant and vote on merit only!
(Like Rebecca had said), i was just hoping that a 2008 Olympian would win the award regardless of specific nationality. It's just a shame that Rebecca didn't win IMO.
