Glen Campbell has tens of thousands of sites discussing his version of this track. I'm not usually one for covers, but give this a try, this reggae LEGEND with such a soulful voice in my opinion produced a heavenly version .. eat ya heart out Glen and R.I.P. Dennis & thank you for blessing us with your rendition ... 37 years ago and no credit on www .. that seems so unfair to me ... so just tried to right that wrong! Not as many in Jamaica have access to www as us more lucky folk here in uk or states ... so credit where credit's due hmmmmmmmmmm? It's same situation as so called 'northern soul' artists all over again , but come on it's 2008 .. QUALITY music lovers!

  • This is so beautiful ..he definatley has made it his own I love it ..keep playing over again thanks ...

  • There are some songs that are impossible to break, and this one by Jimmy Webb is one of those songs. It became Glenn Campbell's signature more than forty years ago. Yet, it's been covered by many artists who all bring something to the table in a positive and characteristic way. This is a great version.

  • This is luscious. I have never heard of him before. I will look for his work now! Thanks for this wonderful posting! Hugs, Gitl

  • This is one of the best renditions of this song that I've ever heard. It's sort of haunting. I have listened to it eight times already...beautiful! Reminds me of Al green's "Simply Beautiful."

  • I really like The Meters cover of this song...

  • Have you seen "reggaelinx website" it is like YouTube for reggae videos. It is so much easier to find and play reggae videos.
