  • I hope Vince fired the people working the camera angles. They kept doing a split screen of Diana's reaction while there's great wrestling being performed in the ring.

  • one of the greatest wwf matches ever a pure epic

  • British Bulldog was so amazing!

He was really strong but amazingly athletic at the same time!

Definitely one of the greatest wrestlers the world has ever seen!

    Plus, he was British!

    R.I.P Davey Boy Smith.

  • @MagicKirin - Not sure about that because Bret did use the roll up a fair few times as a finishing move. Also, if Bret's book is anything to go by he defied McMahon and deliberately bladed himself during this match which was why he was bleeding, but if someone was injured, I'd be more inclined to think it was Davey Boy because he did land heavily and awkwardly on his head after the turnbuckle botch *shrug*

  • @IDIOTdella

Yes the ending did not seem to fit the match one of the two got hurt so they finished up with a wrestling move instead of a great finisher

  • @Marcosian011 - That's probably because it was a botch. It looked like it was supposed to be something like Shawn's buckle ride where he ends up either flopping back to the canvas or sitting on top. Kudos to Bret for still going through with the planned move of the back suplex though.

  • @Marcosian011 I had to watch that bump off the buckle about 15 times. Watched this match more than a fair share of times and somehow didn't remember that gross/awesome bump.

  • The move you see at 3:30 I don't think I've ever seen used outside of this match. Then to follow it up with a Suplex off the top rope that was perfectly executed... this is one of the greatest matches in WWF/WWE history.. one for the ages..

  • Ya don't see good matches like this anymore. Hart bled during the match, which was controversial because WWF didn't allow bleeding back then just like it is now.

  • Hulk Hogan cheering at 5:32

  • Great match!! 21 minutes of wrestling
