Now we are not enemies nor friends, we are family :D

The nearest you would probably find to the Berlin Wall today would be the 20'-30' high peace lines in Belfasts interface areas in Northern Ireland

Where is the Wall in Cuba that has been mentioned, I dont recall seeing a Cuban wall in any history books
-
Stalin and Lenin hit dislike.

@jazzythegreatest The world is not united. Germany is.
-
@anka2468 The USA has not walled in Cuba. Cubans can leave - if their country lets them.
-
@jazzythegreatest well... the soviet union was there until 1991
-
@Xiolablu3 I don't if you'd get shot, but if anyone wants to leave Cuba, they need a lot of money and have to go through a ridiculously long process, not to mention it's practically illegal to leave the country, let alone visit it. Did you know they still drive vintage cars? Nothing moves in and out of place.
The Berlin Wall eventually came down, but Cuba's still suffering.

@anka2468 If you are seriously saying that the USA's policies and actions are as bad as the Cold War era soviet union/Stalin/Gulags/Forced famine/walling in your people/invading poland and splitting it with Hitler,, etc,, then I'm sorry, but I can only think that you are trying hard to be 'alternative', or just naive. Yes the USA has done some bad things, but IMHO they cannot compare. one eg. All countries liberated by the Allies in WW2 had quick free elections to restore their democracy..

@anka2468 I havent heard of anyone being shot for crossing the Cuba border, yet.

Whats Michael Jackson and the berlin wall got on common?
They were both massive in the 80's until bits started falling off of them

49 years ago a shadow raised between west and east germany. in 1989 that shadow was lifted. to this day germany is a united nation, and the world finally became united.
