I liked Lumen. I honestly found Rita to be extremely annoying and bland (even though Julie Benz is beautiful and sweet in real life). Her death still tugged at my heart and I didn't wanna see her go, but she was fucking annoying. I like Lumen because she's a woman that actually gets Dexter and accepts him for who she is. Plus I've always liked Julia Stiles; she's naturally pretty and not fake like so many Hollywood bimbos. Hope she comes back. Fuck ya haters :P

I guess my struggle with this is that he actually seems to be "making love" to this Lumen chick where before he states he doesn't like to get intimate as they'll see how empty he is inside and he usually seems kind of rough. So for me to think that he would just tone it down a bit for a rape victim is confusing UNLESS he feels different with her because she knows he's a serial killer and is free with her.
