Yuo don't have anything to worry about. Radio activity will be very small when
it reach California or Denmark. But like Lisa say, you can take alot of iodide.
But i'm not sure it this is healthy?

Besides Kelp and sea weed I also heard that all you need to do is eat some tuna fish or other deep sea fish every day, at least until the air is clear, which, IMHO would be alot safer than running the risk of side effects or allergic reactions from taking iodide pills....If you're worried about Mercury in the fish, buy Organic! Good Luck and be careful out there....

Lisa, I live just south of LA, and I am not the least bit worried about radiation. I suggest you do the same. I lived in Southwest Russia (much much closer than we in LA are to Japan) when Chernobyl, the worst such catastrophe occurred in Ukraine, and nothing happened to me. Zero. Clean bill of health to this day. But, be cautious, and certainly take precaution if your heart tells you. Ciao.
