Remote Handling at JET

A Virtual Reality 3-D graphical software (VR) system is used by the JET Remote Handling group at JET to prepare tasks. The movie shows how the MASCOT boom, operated by a member of the Remote Handling team, enters the JET vessel and meets up with a second boom, automatically driven. The second boom is equipped with a carrier subframe to support the MASCOT operator with everything needed to perform the task.
