  • alot of this green crap is a joke..CFL lights for example..think of how much energy it takes to produce one of these vs. a regular incandescent bulb.. by the time you mold the plastic for the base, solder the circuit board, etc..it's all about the money, and making these enviroMENTALists feel all warm and fuzzy..

  • @digital951 a SIMPLE investigation renders that article bogus misinformation propagated by the us car makers and oil companies!

  • good job! so much BS out there!

  • Hydrogen is green, hybrids are NOT. The sulfur dioxide released in the nickel mining process for the battery is much more detrimental to the environment than simply producing and driving a normal car. According the the CNW report, the Toyota Prius is the most environmentally damaging car for sale in the US under $30,000.

  • i think it is for the long term as long as people are seeing hte effects of it...if the companies are just bull shitting then the people need to revolt.

  • Fuel efficent american cars.... lol. That's why they are selling that good.

  • I think GM won't be in a year.

  • Ha what a ridiculous video, companies are green washing????

  • It's unfair to say any automaker is not green at this juncture. No one saw this coming to the extent it came, including Toyota. Absolutely, the Prius is a home run. But don't forget that they also invested 1.2 billion dollars in a new truck plant in San Antonio just a few years back. The companies have begun planning in earnest for green technology in the last year. Let's see who is really green in 4-5 years when those products actually hit the markets.

  • Yes they are.

    Next question please.
