Oh man this is BEAUTIFUL!

I've been listening to Arlo Guthrie's original for over 35 years. It freshens my ears to hear it in this marvelous cover with the heavenly harmony vocals. Ian Matthews always had impeccable taste in choosing his répertoire.

Oh this takes me right back to 1970 and seeing them at the Country Club in North London. His voice is so special. Happy days.

Man...this is really nice. I always had Matthews Southern Comfort down as one hit wonders. Ian Matthews voice is really unusual and the guitar/pedal steel crossover really works. A great version of a great song. Thanks.

Sneaky Pete Kleinow had 10 plus years over both Chris Hillman and Gram Parsons when the Burritos began - no big deal. RIP Sneaky and Gordon Huntley.

some people might reconize the lead guitarist in the band.It is Mark Griffiths who plays the bass guitar for the shadows and hank marvin.

ditto jastar. its almost too much.

Everyone loves a lap dissolve ! Especially with a sparkling guitar and that foxy blonde in a leather... Wheres my slipper..
thanks for putting this on, just in time for Cropredy ! I love the way a big deal is made of the fact the steel guitarist is ( shock horror) 42 !
