"Pop" was also a faithful listener of the "Milkmans Matinee" on WNEW-AM Radio out of NYC!!!.
Because of him, my music collection includes tunes from Mozart to Jethro Tull and EVERYTHING in between!!!
I built a home in Jay, NY just north of Lake Placid 5 years ago. When I go to the local bar at 20 Main St in AuSable Forks the internet Juke Box has all of our favorite tunes and the "Senior Locals" always comment, "Doc you play the best music"!!!

Willie D., Thank you. Besides being talented singers, I thought that Patty, Maxine and LaVerne were enjoyable comediennes. My grandmother use to play their music along with Bing Crosby when I was at her house--many decades ago.

My Father was a Door to Door Milkman from 1947 - 1991 in NJ. During the late 60's and early 70's when I used to help him on his routes he would "Tune - In" to the "Make Believe Ballroom" in the early AM hours on WOR AM from NYC. I'm so glad "Pop" brought me up on this MUSIC!!!
