It is interesting point of view. The newspapers and media of the day held the man up as a total Charlatan. Of course, when he was convicted of the charge of "mail fraud" Westinghouse was able to purchase one of the most powerful radio stations in the world for pennies, his radio station XENT. Local politicians got his hotel/clinic. And of course, The AMA continued business as usual with it most profitable of all medical treatments.

Norman baker was indeed a brilliant man who believed before a lot of people that the patient is more important than the profit. I am excited to be attending the University of Iowa in a few years which is only a short drive from his hometown of Muscatine. I hope I can try to get people to stop believing lies and hating someone who doesnt deserve to be hated.I have had the fortune of being able to get my hands on a copy of The Throttle, which came prior to Doctors, Dynamiters and Gunmen.
