A quick cruise through the streets (and freeway - with a little traffic) on my Yamaha R6 (2005) on February 15th, 2008. From the 76 gas station on Atlantic and Valley to San Gabriel & Las Tunas.

Enjoy!

  • Rosemead? Asian invasion

  • @PWRLNMN22: Close to Rosemead. This was on the 10 East from Atlantic up until San Gabriel Blvd.

  • PROBLEM TRAFFIC?

  • @SiKL3GeNd: I don't get it. :/

  • looks fun. and while everyone says its dangerous and you say u know what your doing. the fact is that it is pretty dangerous. because while you may be in control of your bike. other people are stupid. They may be in rage over the traffic and try to jump lanes.. who knows. i guess the general rule of riding is not to trust anyone else haha. good luck man. cool video.

  • @Woolfy: I know what you mean but, when you start riding and splitting lanes, you realize that a car will not hit you (by going into the lane next to it) if there's another car next to it. So, as long as you're splitting between two cars, it should be fine (unless the guy randomly opens his door or something). If you're weaving, however, you have to look ahead and gauge the driver's next move.

  • @clumpymold yep yep. i get ya. but thats why they are called accidents. as long as u know and admit the risk, people cant really argue against you right? haha.

+1 I remember my first time lane splitting, was during stand still traffic, its not as scary or dangerous as it seams, the number one priority is watching the cars in front of you and predicting their next move, pretty easy once you get some experience.

  • @clumpymold thanks man!
