A team from California have shown that it's possible to control images on a screen using just the power of thought. Working with patients who had electrodes implanted for surgery, they fed signals from the patient's brains into a computer, and then watched as they learnt how to use these signals to fade in an image of Marilyn Monroe, or fade out Michael Jackson. This kind of stuff is absolutely fascinating. I could immerse myself in brain psychology for hours

James Holmes is watching you! Gone too far with the Bacon's New Atlantis utopia... What is science without morals or for that matter morals without science? It's when bombs fall on your house while you watch a mindless game show on TV enjoying the fruits of civilization.

almost as impressive as the words from

    Gods of Eden...

william braµley 2 decades too late

yet we ring the new year in freedom

    we did the impossible

    and we freed the mind..

    Consciousness is here

Then you may want to wear an aluminium hat to prevent your brain radiating weak signals which may be picked up at some distance.

Such signals were already measured at distance by the Italian professor Cazzamalli. He beamed radiofrequency signals at heads. These signals heterodyned with the brain signals. The resulting high frequency signals radiated from the brain and were picked up by a receiver. In the speaker of the receiver Cazzamalli heared the signals. See Wikipedia for his publications

Fascinating! Did the research show which area of neurons were active in the thought control? And does this show we do have free will after all, or only to the extent of directing our attention?
