FFVII Cosmo Canyon Theme on Ukulele

Finally got around recording something. I used my cellphone's camera, which is pretty decent for its audio and video qualities but seems like I was too loud for the mic and there was some clipping, I'll have to adjust it better next time.

This is the Cosmo Canyon Theme from Final Fantasy VII. It's one of my first arrangements and safest bets when it comes to playing video game music.

Well yeah I don't think tabbing all the hammer-ons / pull-offs, grace notes and strokes and what not serves a purpose, they're something that you should only add when it comes natural to your playing style. However I try to tab everything that one needs to learn the tunes and they will essentially get personalized and adjusted to ones own style.

I do use a different Bm chord in the "chorus", it's a bit upper on the neck and is faster to play, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing :)

Hey thanks! I'm planning on doing some more stuff on video but I've just been busy, worked for the whole summer :(

Anyway, I like cait sith's theme a lot, too, but it's pretty hard to play to be honest :D Still it could be mastered, I was pretty good at it once :D

i know how long it can take to arrange even just a small part of songs like these, but you did the entire thing so well

great blend of fingerpicking and strumming. i myself find some difficulty going from strumming then picking right after.
