Khmer Language School Celebration 18 Dec 2011 Part IV

Khmer Language School for Children is very important for Cambodian diapora. By learning and preserving language, the heritage and culture would be well maintained. This activity has happened annually to celebrate the success of students who have enrolled for their full year of learning. Language is not only about being able to speak and to write, but the school has also emphasized on understanding proper attitude of Khmer culture and the practice of religion.

The event also marked its achievement in promoting and encouraging education among youths of Cambodian Canadian who wish to pursue high education. The Khmer Youth Association of Alberta also offered 4 distinctive awards to four youths who have proudly achieved their high school diploma. Their future plan is also admirable for the commitment to achieve university.
