Just for conversation, may I ask how it's not sad? I thought it was extremely upsetting as it involves death of people that really love each other. It's sad in kind of a pretty way though.

Damn..I remember watching this episode with a smile on my face, thinking that those two were finally gonna start their cute little family, and this is what I see instead. I cried so much, my mom, who doesnt even like anime, saw this scene with me and she was sobbing like a baby too. Clannad is the BEST of it's genre.
