We hebben het over Amy Macdonald, de 19 jarige indie-pop prinses die door de Britse Daily Mail werd uitgeroepen tot de Next Best Thing en dat ook waarmaakte door met haar album op nr 2 in Engeland binnen te komen.

Amy Macdonald is een natuurtalent, een klein meisje met een dijk van een stem en een heel natuurlijke uitstraling. Geen fluisterliedjes, zoals je misschien zou verwachten, maar lekker up-tempo popnummers met een randje (en prachtig Schots accent).

Amy's lyrics are so interesting. She seems to look at things from a very different perspective than most do. My only beaf with song, though.. it really needs to be sped up a bit. The slow tempo kinda weighs it down when it could really rock. Regardless, I love it.
