  • Hello, here are my opinion.Powerful yes! But it looks to tense, too stiff. The footwork is not very balanced,at times looks like you stumble. It looks like you have no foundation in hung ga kyun. But a good spirit.. good luck!

  • Thank you for the comments and the advice.

This video was filmed 3 months after I started learning Hung Gar with Sifu Frank Bolte.

    I wish you well.

  • Thank you EKOkoeln for the good words. Yes, I did martial arts before.I started practicing kung fu in Greece since I was 7 with Master Angelos Papadatos, then I did some Taek Kwon Do, and then 5 years of capoeira regional with in the grup Jacobina Arte with mestre Pitbull. It was the first time that I practiced Hung Kuen with Sifu Frank Bolte. He has been an excellent Sifu and I have learned a lot from him, I am very greatful to him.

  • very good....excellent teaching Frank..... keep up the great work.

  • Thank you rich212123!!!!

  • @VanRublee Gung Gee should not be learned until after a minimum of three years typically

  • Nice intent through the motions, just a few pointers: 1. never lock elbows during long bridge, when you connect with an opponent you want your muscles to bear the opposing force, not your joints. 2. right now, your stancework is getting you from point A to B, whereas in Hung system stancework's main purpose is power generation and rooting. 3. Three months in any southern system and you shouldnt be learning forms yet...you should still be in stance work.

  • Well he didnt had the time to learn the foundation, but hes aware about that.If he keeps practising he will improve...its entirely up to him. Also this video is already older in the meanwhile he improved...

  • good work!!!

did you do martial arts before?

    Greetings from Cologne / Germany
