Tegan Quin of Tegan and Sara performs Wake Up Exhausted with Alkaline Trio in L.A. for Spinner.com's podcast The Interface.

Wake Up Exhausted is a Tegan and Sara song, that Tegan wrote. Alkaline Trio covered the song because they like it. The original song is from the album So Jealous.

  • I like the dynamic and emotion here. Two very different people singing about two different problems. Though I like to pretend that the two people that are singing have broken up with each other that both miss each other and aren't okay with the breakup. Yes, I am fully aware Tegan is a lesbian.

  • i bet you the drummer is staring at her ass half the time. bahahahah

  • i want to hug her

  • This song....is the most amazing duo-cover I've ever heard.

  • Matt on the bass!? lol

  • Is there anything matt can't do?

  • Tegans high voice is so hotttt..

  • Found this song by chance today. Reminded me of a situation I try not to think about much anymore but creeps in my brain still from time to time.

  • They're called power chords, guys. Because of the way your fingers sit on the fretboard, your middle finger usually ends up sticking straight, so it looks like every guitar player is giving you the finger. The truth is that only most of us are. :D

  • @Wonderbread316 XD nothing. it's just, it's a chord. he's not flicking anyone off.
