this is a 2 x 12 speaker cabinet i built for my guitar, i just need to get an amp head. its not completely finished as you can tell, it does have an input and an output jack to connect another cab but i dont have an actual jack plate yet. some further things im probably gonna do is of course put a handle on the top, maybe put some caster wheels on the bottom, a big grill in the front, possibly buy new speakers, an actual jackplate, and i might go ahead and wrap it in tolex, as well as put some egg crate foam on the inside walls to dampen the sound. the song you hear is "The Siren's Song" by Parkway Drive, i do not own the rights to the song nor did i create it, so full credit goes to Parkway Drive. also what my ipod is hooked up to is just a cheap $5 ipod speaker that i just disconnected the speakers from the circuit board then just soldered some speaker wire onto the board and then out onto some 1/4" jacks. im just wondering if i can play the music in stereo through the cab if i use a splitter cable. the sound quality and the "fuzzy" sound aren't being made by the cabinet, its because of the mic on the camera.

  • nice cabinet. umm......... that music.......... if you listen to that daily I see a boyfriend in your life not a girlfriend. Also a future in fast food service.

  • @jimm66 Oh the wonders of pure ignorant judgement. always makes me laugh.

  • I quite like the beat up look, sounds pretty good to me. Dude can I ask a question, is there any way I can connect a marshall 1912 cab to a stereo Line 6 Spider IV 150 head. Line 6 say both 75W outputs need to be connected to 8ohm loads. Is there any way I can modify the Marshall to make it work with the Spider IV head? Thanks

  • @Hertsman50 when it says both need to be connected to 8ohm loads, it just means the speakers they are connected to need to be 8ohm speakers. you should be able to just connect one output to the cabinet because the outputs are for the left and right channels, where as your cabinet only has one channel. but if you wish to connect both channels you will need to buy a stereo to mono converter, there are many different types so you will have to do a little research to figure out what will work

  • As for the grill.Just call around to a local steel vender and ask for a pc of expanded or extruded metal .They will usually cut it to size.OR a sheet metal shop will do the same.Godd work BTW.

  • thanks!

  • You should make small holes and put a few dome tweeters in that... would do wonders for the sound quality :D

  • PARKWAY DRIVE! FUCK YES!

  • The cabinet looks nice. Shittiest music ever, though. Seriously, why do people listen to this. They probably just want to be "different" from the crowd...sigh...

  • @jimm66 lol

  • @jimm66 And if you listen to lil wayne and that shit you get girls and a job in a luxury hotel?? i dont think so asshole.

  • you need to add some mids and highs dude you can play music with only 12s

  • i will give you 5 bucks for it if you pay for shipping.

  • @Hertsman50 You get a variety of fairly naff sounds. And if you prefer your line6 over your tube amp, get a new tube amp. There really is nothing better than when the tubes are just right and the breakup is happening and it's all nice and sweet.

  • all those so to speak 'subs' need is to be blown
