I love this sooooo much.

@hassledguy It's a dominant 9th, with added 13th. At that point, he's on the IV chord of a G blues, which is C7: you add the A note (B string, 10th fret), and the D note (high E string, 10th fret)

can someone tell me what chord that is at 3:07? thanks so much

From the very first note I have sought to get as much Snooks in my fingers, mind and soul as possible. As good as they come.

sorry to learn of snooks so late . . .

This man had a voice that could melt steel.
What a SOUND!
This was time when musicians really played from the heart without relying on studio gimmicks or rap lyrics..

Virtuoso!!!
Kenneth Blevins on drums. RIP Snooks, my fav R & B player/singer and one of the great undersung musicians. I don't know of any musician who could make a room feel better, from grandmas to youngsters and everyone in between. He is sorely missed.

I was lucky, lucky, lucky to see Snooks and George on many nights back in the '80's and early 90's. Many a fine guitar player left a Snooks show shaking his head in amazement. "Unique" is an overworked word, but there was simply no one else like him.
RIP Snooks, and thanks for all those nights.
