John Prine has been a part of my life since 1976. He's like an old friend that you never forget, no matter how long it's been since you saw them last. His music has served as the background for many of my most important memories in my life. I'll probably ask my family to play his music at my funeral when my time comes. John, you've done good, old friend.

@frankymideer ... i listen to all john prine... my you tube contains so much variety... thank you for your kind words... one day.. i will learn how to post a video... and till then... i will watch you tube for more music... i don't watch much tv... because the music.. ahh the music... can pick you, lift you up, make you dance, and in the end... you just listen...to them sing :)

great song from a brilliant country singer, hugely underrated! saw him live at newcastle city hall some yearsback and he was awesome playing with a support after rescheduling the gig due to breaking his arm. great guy, luv his music!

please .... i have a request... since you are so good at this... could you post the song killing the blues.. from JP anthology .... i lost my brother nearly a year ago... and for some reason... that song explains the man that i love and still miss.... tks

Two thanks are due - one to you for posting such a great song (he looks fine in this as a bonus), and the other that Big Boy Records - the label John owns - have not chosen to take this down off of the site.
