REVERSE PARTHENOGENESIS

A pitch-black comedy short written and directed by Javier Grillo-Marxuach - writer/producer on "Lost" and creator of "The Middleman" - and starring Amber Benson and Adam Busch of the classic TV series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer."

Julie and Saul Winslow are a happily married couple thinking about having a baby... but when the two decide to have their genome mapped in order to know for sure that their child will be healthy, the test reveals a secret that will not only test their mutual trust and the integrity of their marriage, but also threaten the very future of humanity as they know it.

Co-starring Edmund Lupinski as Dr. Elias Kittridge, a family physician faced with an apocalyptic revelation hidden in the couple's DNA, "Reverse Parthenogenesis" is is a darker-than-dark comedy about love, relationships, the pitfalls of potential parenthood... and the limitless capacity for evil at the pit of every living soul.

I liked it. If it were me, though, I'd end it on the door closing. The blood-licking doesn't improve it in any way, and it loses the sharp ending of the door slamming shut. the pacing becomes weaker and it's over the top while the hand-wave is obvious enough without him being all "blagh I'm a monster I drink blood!"

Ummm...you guys know they dated right? Adam is actually a really great guy. :o) It's all about people distinguishing between the character and the person. Amber as always is superb, and Adam is a highly underestimated actor! They both did great! :oD

I - I think it's an amazing short/possible episode. Just woah - I am part of the fan group of the Buffy show so it already give me a slight wiggins because Amber played a character that Adam's character killed in an episode. And like...woah. It's cool and everything don't get me wrong at all, brilliant but, I just - what.
