Just so you know, there is no positive correlation between between being rich and being smart or being poor and stupid.

Your greedy and money focused approach to life is if anything looked down upon by the smartest people I know.

Money means nothing when wealth is seen as the erudite condiments of abstract intellect.

They can only do this though because of the weak, herd mentality of humans. The politicians, leaders, gurus all tell you what you want to hear, using what you believe, or your programming against you, mixing truth with lies.

Too bad that top 5% got there by lying or rigging the system against everyone else. For example, paying off the government to make laws, regulations, requirements to stop competition. The top 5% being eradicated would do humanity good. Those very few that got to where they are by enriching humanity and doing it on a level playing field are the exception of course, but most of the top 5% are lying, cheating, full of it aholes. The few should never control the many.

Sounds all good and dandy, if all you want is material, of the physical world. I've been wealthy, but I wasn't happy doing what I was doing, I've been middle class, and now poor. But at poor I am so much happier than I was at the other stages because I've come back to knowing who I am. I have necessities, but I no longer have material wants. That's a good place to be.

Umm ... who says the rich are smart? Who says the smart are rich? What exactly is smart anyway? Most people I know with high IQ's would rather be off learning something new. Ambition is more important then intelligence to gaining wealth. There is a correlation between high average IQ and national wealth, because this is generally an indicator of a quality educational system.
