  • Hi Greg, I appreciate the water damage and drainage videos you put up recently. I decided to go w/ a stem foundation sitting directly on the footer. And for drainage, French Drain around the footer and cement slabs directly adjacent to the structure. And gutter downspouts draining directly into the French drains. I was just wondering, if you think these two systems would complement each other enough to give me proper water protection over the years?

  • @joeMopar412 It's hard to give you an answer, because I don't have your site plan, but I'm not an engineer either, I hope it wil, but if you really want a good answer you will need to have a professional look at it, from your area. Maybe your building department can help.
