Some various points about christianity versus actually following the teachings of Jesus. They are NOT the same thing. I am a Satanist, yet I have respect for Jesus, however I have little or no respect for any organized religion, which is alright considering Jesus never tried to found an actual religious movement, but was a philosophical leader concerned with helping the poor, something which extended to being even, in many cases, antireligious, as the religious authorities of his time prevented welfare for the poor in many cases, and spent their time growing rich and judging others, often stoning them.

I encourage everyone to study biblical history, and read the gospel of Mark, minus the resurrection nonsense which was added decades later by scribes in order to fulfill their goal of legitimizing their religious belief that Jesus was literally the offspring of Jehovah.

Some basic points...

1. Jesus never refers to himself as "Son of god" in the earliest gospel.
2. Aleister Crowley basically expounded the same law Jesus did in the earliest gospel, and was called deeply evil and antichristian, showing the hypocrisy of the church.
3. Nowhere did Jesus ever condone organized religion, thus he probably would not support christianity, as he was at most a deist jew.
4. The book of Revelation was written symbolically about NERO CAESAR whose name adds to 666 in gematria, which would have been known by almost all jews and christians at the time it was written. This was made as a hidden meaning symbolic tract against Roman authority, which at the time oppressed both groups.
5. The etymology of the words "Satan" and "Demon" are both pagan in origin and root from the Egyptian god "Set" and the greek term "Daemon." Neither has a connotation of evil.
6. Jesus basically taught the following: "Don't be an asshole."

  • Jesus said that every Hebrew law still applies, every single unaltered Hebrew law. Every Christian who doesn't follow Hebrew law goes against the teachings of Jesus and most Christians don't follow any Hebrew laws. So, according to Christianity, nearly every Christian is going to Hell. Ironic, yes?

    Citation: Matt.5:17-9

By the way, you apparently don't know what satanism (to be satanic, to worship one's self) and Luciferism (to worship Lucifer (Light Bringer)) are.

  • @Ghaledon I am a Satanist, I think I know what the term means! Some Satanists worship themselves, yes, but others worship nature, or education, or basically whatever they want- the only true essence of Satanism is individuality over conformity.

    I think you mean "Luciferianism."

  • Just because the word Demon comes from the Greek Daemon, does not mean the idea comes from Greek. In reality, this idea existed in Egypt even before 3000 BC and had to do with possession. This idea went out with the Israelites by diffusion. Once the Christians wer writing in Greek they hastily transposed words, intending their Aramaic meanings.

  • @pandirasbox However christianity is, due to the wide early dispersion among Latin Greek and other languages, highly varied and conflicting.

Hence the rise of the Armenians, orthodoxy etc. ALL the words are different in at least a few editions.

  • How can he not be a Savior if he taught others how to be good and enjoy life?

  • @pandirasbox Because we have no need of a savior we have need of logic. Defeating religion brings more hope than any savior.

  • The real Jesus sounds like a stoned hippy who just was promoting peace and love to everyone, the bible got his teaching out of whack, I am sure the real Jesus did not condone homophobia.

  • @andrewvanrhoberts Perhaps some time from now, but not any time soon I have to focus on my studies.

  • Well presented video. Christianity we see today is basically the child of the organisation formed under the roman banner of the orthodox church in the third century and creates a very disillusioned version of Jesus in todays public view. Before hand the Jesus's movements were vast in belief and very different to each other involving gnostic groups.

  • Jezus was a figure like Charles Manson i guess, completely misunderstood by society. What if they kept him without a ttrail his whhole life in jail?

  • Oh, ok. So in short: Christians differ from each other. All in which depends on which Gospels or parts of Gospels they choose to create their own nexus of information out of. I guess that could make it a favorable belief for many as well as popular. It’s becoming clearer now in contrast to what I’ve understood before.

  • @Styxhexenhammer666 That is a good point

  • Why don't you enlighten us all (since that seems to be your employment), how is Set (a word we do not know the pronunciation of) the etymology for the name Satan? Satan was the adversary or scapegoat, a symbol of atonement and temptation in the earliest writings (the five books of Moses). There is no proof Job is older, it is based on an assumption that it is strictly orally transmitted hymns which is no proof at all.

  • @Styxhexenhammer666 I said he prophecied, not that he fulfilled prophecy. What is a loose use of the term?
