I think the best thing about this movie is that it grows with you. When I was in high school and watching this movie and waxing on about how great anarchy is and how The Sex Pistols were The Monkees of real punk rock I identified with it and now that I've grown up and actually have bills to pay and a job to do I appreciate how eventually you inevitably outgrow your old self.
