  • This is an awesome bassoon song. I played it my freshman year with one other bassoonist. x]

    Well done, bassoons! :D

  • Thank you so much for a wind ens version of this song. They're not easy to find nowaday.

This piece should not be played without bassoons and an English horn.

  • BASSOON POWER!

Played this one year in a symphony and was the only basson.. only had problems with one part durring the EH part where it changes... going down was the harder part.

  • @SharzardGeek lol im the only bassoon at my school, we played this and had to play very loud, not the nature of the instrument at all!

  • Jackass!!!

  • oh man! you actually have 3 bassoons. we only had one, and we had it play the main part, accompanied by bari sax on part 2 and bass clarinet on part 3. the 3 bassoons sounds so much awesomer.

  • we played this piece in our veterans day concert for our wind ensemble. i played the third trombone part =) very fun part.

  • I'll say. I'm playing this one in marching band this season, and they had to replace a lot of those brilliant bassoon features with mellophone, baritone, or saxophone features. It's really not the same anymore. Real pity.

  • Did you guys slur two toungue two the H section, or jus ttoungue it all?

  • I played this song in the Lynbrook Wind Ensemble in 1998! It's good to see Doc again!

  • good trumpets
