  • Wow! Never knew the did the N.Y.C. skyline thing in the back. Was that just this show?

  • They did this at every stadium show on the Destroyer tour.

  • Very cool. Do you have more? I wonder why they shot it from so many different angles.

  • kissonlinedotcom has uploaded the whole show but I thought it might be interesting to add this to Youtube.

  • I meant do you have more from this angle of the show or do you just have this clip?

  • Only this Im afraid.

  • To me this is KISS, the original and best line up. and I don't care who played with them in the 80's on up and how much better musicians they may be, this right here is the SH**!

  • Hope they name the next dvd set "KISSOLOGY IV The stuff we should have put on the first three sets"................ Thought the first three volumes were great, anyway.

Not to split hairs, but in the book Kiss: Alive Forever, the Complete Touring History (Curt Gooch and Jeff Suhs), the authors say that Kiss stage show "was even more exaggerated for this show; a lighting effect modeling the New York skyline was added above the main lighting rig." (p.72). They don't mention the few other stadiums on this tour.

    Thanks for posting this!

  • @DisasterBlaster500 I agree so much! After Peter left, it wasn't KiSS anymore (musically speaking). No idea how old you are but it is nice to see you lock on great music. From 1967 to 1979, it was golden age in Rock music (Hard Rock, Progressive Rock, Classic Rock). I can't get why no band have picked up from those and went on with the same style and quality.

  • Still amazing, ain't it!

I never get tired of listening to them, up to Dynasty album (I prefer studio takes though), I still discover some "little tricks" of theirs (music arrangements) here and there I have missed back then! I try hard but can't find that Rock nowadays...

  • see, THAT was when they kicked so much ass. Go out, Play hard & take names later .......IMO Paul does a bit too much "socializing" with the audience now, which slows down the show. Unlike the old days like this.

  • nice collection buddy havent seen many like this great job

  • KISS at their Destroyer prime!

  • Very cool. Thanks for sharing this...they played really well here. Seriously, who needs Kissology? This will go well with Ace's biography, not to mentions Peters. Can't wait...

  • the mix is not bad from here.....

  • @74BlackDiamond74 Fucking awesome, man.

  • I can only imagine what a great time this must have been. I wish I'd been there. I was born too late! :P Oh well, at least I got to see 'em in '96 and '98 when Ace and Peter were still around. I saw them recently, but without Ace and Peter it's just not the same.
