I love this song (:
Well here are the lyrics.
(NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED)
_________●๋•_________

Sitting for lunch in a square in this town
(this town that I'm new to),
new fellow from my new town sat me down
and explained it to me:
how when I spin from him I spin from myself,
the center can double the speed of the crust.
Thank you, my treacherous friends.
I'm cringing for myself when I cringe for you.

Hello, my treacherous friends,
and thank you for joining me here tonight.
I brought you all here to discuss, as I must,
how grateful I am for your insights.

With regard to my newborn arachnid kids,
there's something we must discuss:
perhaps we should sit them down and explain
how not to be saved.
Perhaps you could help me to demonstrate
how your center can keep up its sickening spin.
Thank you, my treacherous friends.
Perhaps for my children your surface will smile.

Hello, my treacherous friends,
and thank you for joining me here tonight.
I brought you all here to discuss, as I must,
the fate of my children, the spiders.

Hello, my treacherous friends,
and thank you for joining me here tonight.
I brought you all here to discuss, as I must,
how pleasant has been this demise.

  • hey I got an idea! Maybe its a sort of macabre dark story behind the lyrics. Likes he invites this group of backstabbing, hypocritical friends who werent there in his moment of need, and then begins speaking to them, and as we hear the words "fate of my children" he unleashes his spiders upon them! :D

  • even after two years, I still randomly get the urge to listen to this song.

  • when i first heard this song i laughed so hard i started to cry. it sounded sickening (my laughter, that is) :D

  • @audiophil92 or maybe....yeah that's a good story 'cuz i can't think of a better one, or weirder, for that matter.

  • @MeLiNaKi92 Same. :D ♥

  • I see it as Charolette's web... Charollette pretty much realising that everyone else around her was an idiot that didn't help. *brought you all here to discuess* when she gathers then to help the pig and they do $hit all. Plus it includes spiders. and "how not to be saved" because she knew she was going to die, and couldn't change it.

    Just my two cents.

    Tl;dr: Charollette's web

**Yes i know i spelled charolette wrong.

  • personally, the "story" i allways think of when i hear it is: he is at a podeum many years after he knew them they are politisians and leaders, its a party and he goes up to give a speech. all of them are sly and will do anything for an advantage, he's experianced each one of their deceptions, but still loves them all in a weird way, he knows he's no better than them and can laugh at how horrid they all are. they ahve helped him, and hindered him at certain times.

  • I thought Volvo's were safe? :P LOL

  • Thank You Cassie ;)

  • you know, when i hear this i always think it has some sort of conspiracy theorist theme behind it, where he rounds up everyone involved in the conspiracy, calling them treacherous, as he knows they are terrible people, but that wont stop them. Everyone around him is slowly being brainwashed to his ideas as he speaks. But the lyrics dont really support this, do they?

  • This is actually more like their album "of the blue color of the sky"

You can call it more melancholic... but still fckng awesome
