jess!! i have a question, so im assuming since ur hair has beenn coloured for so long that u only have to lighten ur roots with the lightener. i want to lighten a piece of hair that has been grown out to dye it a bright color but i dont want to do too much damage, so do u think lightening vs bleaching it would do the job and less damage? im scared that the blonde dye wont get it as light because my hairs dark brown. yet i fear the bleach will tremendously dry out my ends

@Amberischewyy I'd do a test strip. It all depends on the porosity of your hair and stuff. If it's your first time, I'd go to a hair dresser, ask etc. :)

I use conditioner every day but because I never use shampoo, I wont have a color stripping problem, will I?

If i want to go this route the same way, but prefer the darker purple that you try to strip off in the beginning with head and shoulders, will it last longer because I dont use any shampoo at all?
