  • A grand sound from an impressive instrument, well played and nicely recorded.

  • Thanks...I wish I could've recorded this professionally. It would've sounded even better. Thanks anyway!

Sorry for the late reply. This is Piedmont College in Demorest, GA.

  • @MadCoSnareLine

As soon as I had posted that, I discovered some videos which proved the opposite: Rogg playing Prelude (and Fugue) in Eb and Marie Claire Alain Prelude and Fugue in A minor (opening).

    What school is that?

Please elaborate. Just curious. I am beginning the study of the organ next semester at this school and would love to get some wisdom. :)

  • The organ is impossible to play well.

  • You ought to hear this played on the 1932 Midmer-Losh Organ in the Atlantic City Convention Hall. It is indescribable.

  • This is a very impressive organ! Not entirely my tast but it is surely stunning. Thanks for posting!

  • A still photo would have worked as well as a video, because the organist is so far away, you can hardly see any movement. 5stars anyway.
