As a pretty big fan of both Frightened Rabbit and Cymbals Eat Guitars, I gotta admit that these guys hadn't heard FR before. I suppose they're from opposite ends of the indie spectrum? Anyways, bottom line is, they're both great bands, but they have slightly different tastes/influences.

Whoever that reviewer was . . . one word: Prick. Actually, I have another word: Arrogant. He obviously needs to give the song another listen if he thinks they're trying to sound like the freakin' Beach Boys. The Beach Boys??? Are you kidding me?? Also, a "nice road trip song for a sunny day"? Wow. The guy's deaf too.

A bit harsh! It was their first listen of FR, and they did give it a good score in the end... I mean, 3.3 peanut butter jelly sandwiches?? Any band would be happy with that...
