by far the best cover of Drop Dead Legs on YouTube- nice work
-
Seems like you feel the rythym more playing with the slide technique than using the whammy - sounds lot less stiff than many of the other versions. I learned classical on 12 & 24 string acoustic first so I do the same thing, faster hand work but nicer control. Great job.

Rock on, brother!! Best DDL rhythm lick I've heard- including Eddie!

Dude, you play it very smoothly. I would have like to have heard more of the amp and less of the pick. CRANK IT, MAN!

I remember in the mid 80's-90's I learned most of SRV stuff and I did all of it without a whammy
Then I watched tons of videos of him playing LIVE and he's using whammy bars on tons of the stuff I thought he was just bending strings

Dig those moves...

Pretty good, especially after you warmed up a a bit... played with the right 'feeling'... balls-y feel, like it should be.
Thanks again guys! Glad to help!

Thanks guys! I'm glad to hear that people are in agreement with me about this song. It's a shame there's not a live version of this floating around.
The guitar is an ESP ltd H-100 that I spray painted O.D. green. It's just a backup guitar. My baby is my 89 Les Paul studio.
I play a lot of metal on guitar. Bands like Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Killswitch etc. Bass on the other hand, I tend to be more versatile and I seem to enjoy it a little more. I know I've had more work as a bassist! LOL
