I think Colin plays it on the recording with a 12-string, which would explain why the guitar part doesn't sound quite right.

Yeah he does. I also tend to play a few wrong notes too though which doesn't help!

I really like your cover! I so awesome that you guys were really engaged in the song. Especially the guitarist. a very poignant voice and you know it. I hope you guys will do another decemberist cover. say the engine driver?
