Jaime jumped up as soon as he heard Kimberlee groan.
Sam took a moment to laugh at the look on his brother's face.
Aiden shushed Sam and was by Kimberlee's side in a heartbeat.
"Kimberlee?" he asked gently.
Kimberlee opened her eyes slowly and looked into Aiden's hazel orbs.
"Are you okay?" he wondered then, breaking eye contact.
"What-What happened?" Kimberlee wondered, trying to sit up.
"We were kind of hoping you could tell us," Sam spoke up, helping Kimberlee sit up.
Kimberlee closed her eyes, trying to think. She opened her eyes and looked down at her wrists. The boys followed her gaze.
"Kimberlee—" Jaime stopped, still staring at the scars on her wrist. "Did you do that to yourself?"
Kimberlee blinked back her tears. "Yes...no...I don't know."
"How do you 'not know'?" Jaime asked her. Aiden and Sam looked at him. She was only here for not even a day yet, and Jaime was already treating her as if she was his little sister.
"I can't remember!" Kimberlee cried. "I don't know who I am, or where I'm from. I'm trying SO hard to remember. But I can't." She looked at the boys. "Do you know what that feels like? To not remember anything at all from your past?" She put her head in her hands and began to sob.
Jaime sat down next to her, pulling her into a hug. He felt Kimberlee stiffen up, so he immediately pulled away.
"I'm sorry," Jaime began to apologize. "It was out of line—"
Kimberlee shook her head. "It's not you." She looked at him. "I think I have trust issues." She sighed. "I mean, I know you guys are sweethearts—you have to be, doing all it is that you've done for me—but...I don't know. But trust me, Jaime, its not you. Its me."
Jaime looked at her. "Are you breaking up with me?" he wondered jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.
"What?" Clearly, she didn't get the joke.
"You said, 'Its not you, its me.' People usually say that when they're breaking up with someone—" He stopped at the confused look on her face. "No? All right."
Aiden rolled his eyes. "Don't mind him," he told Kimberlee. "He likes to think he's funny."
"Hey!" Jaime protested.
Aiden waved at him. "Hi."
Jaime crossed his arms across his chest.
"He's also a big baby," Sam added.
Jaime stuck his tongue out at Sam.
"Oh, yeah, because that made you look SO much older," Aiden commented, rolling his eyes once more.
Kimberlee giggled, catching the boys attention.
"Hey, you're laughing—"
"Thanks, Captain Obvious," Sam interrupted.
"You should laugh more often," Aiden told her, its beautiful."
Kimberlee blushed. "Its strange, but I can't remember a time when I've ever laughed. I mean, I know I don't remember anything, but I don't think I've ever laughed."
"That's crazy!" Jaime commented. "You're seventeen, you've had to laugh sometime."
Kimberlee looked down at her wrists once more. She held them up for the boys to see. "Does this look like something a happy person would do?"
"Still," Aiden said then, "just because a part of your life is screwed up doesn't mean your whole life is."
Jaime helped her up. "Come on, you must be tired. You can get some sleep, we can finish talking about this tomorrow."
Kimberlee waved goodbye to Sam and Aiden. She stopped and turned around.
"What's wrong?"
She hurried down the stairs and over to the two boys. She gave them each a hug.
"What's this for?" Sam wondered once Kimberlee pulled away.
She blushed and avoided their gaze. "Thank you," she said in a quiet voice. She hurried back over to Jaime. She gave him a hug, as well. She smiled. "Thank you."

loved it,loved how teh boys are still being themselves around her and putting her at ease,how did they know her age,they will need to explain to their girlfriends whats going on before they get the wrong idea

Aww, this was so cute. It kinda starts the relationship between Jamie and Kim.
I loved when Jamie asked if she was breaking up with him. I can imagine Joe doing that.
