The shortest little .45-70 you might ever put your hands on! The barrel is just a little over 16" in length, and it has a full length magazine. Pretty cool! I mistakenly mention in the video that the barrel is 18". I was thinking of legal shotgun barrel length, I suppose, if I was "thinking" at all. :-) The legal length for a rifle barrel is 16".

Hi hickok45 love the vids keep them up. I just brought a 336ss in 30.30 and was wondering which sights do you prefer between the skinner and the XS its a tought choice but im leaning more towards the skinner express in stainless ?
P.S. i think the 40/70 made it to next gun on the list lol

I absolutely agree about the full length magazine. Besides, guns look better with a full mag.

@HadjiVip Actually I was wrong, the GBL is 18inches, the stp is around 16.

This looks like a beautiful gun to own! I wish I could find one, I settled for the GBL instead, which is the same gun but not in stainless. You should check it out, the GBL hold 6 in the tube. I have a video of mine if you're interested in seeing it.
