@MonacoRocha ...He is saying to be Quiet. I would say... it is like watching silently from inside your self as your life unfolds. The choices, actions, responses are made and you stay quiet within your self and just observe. Hope that helps.
I was dreaming and I realized that I was awake... I was awake and realized that I was dreaming... what I have observed is that when I am asleep I don't question my thoughts... I don't focus on them as I do when I am supposedly awake.
@pbelly08 interesting point pbelly08.in my opinion this awareness is a function of the mind, about what is going on externally and internally.that awareness just observes-it does not judge whether u have lost the mind or not.just like when u r dreaming,u are perceiving it,but u think it is reality.so a person loosing his mind, will b perceiving things as "reality",and considering the normal ppl as crazy.what is reality-is probably defined by what the majority says, not what really is.
I'm curious, as well. Really wish Mooji with touch on this subject.
When people "lose" their minds, where is consciousness then? If consciousness is aware that the mind -thinks- it is some place it isn't (i.e. Alzheimer's, etc), why then is this ultimate power within us not (for the lack of a better word) able to recognize where it truly is?
If it really is the mind that senses the mind, then it would make more sense when those who've lost their minds, are unaware of it.
The human brain has evolved to the point where it now posseses a most amazing ability: the ability to view itself from a totally detached, objective viewpoint. To label this detahcment "oneness" or "spirit" is an ancient philosophy, but is it correct? Could it not be merely a side affect of the self-awareness of the brain?
Please do comment as I am interested in both sides of the argument and I'd be much interested in others' responses.
decision making is not really necessary. I look at it in terms of supply/demand. Act only when there is a demand for action by others. If there is no demand for you to be somewhere - then no action is required on your part. All of a sudden time increases exponentially. :)
