  • @futureslugger thos artists dont even have to acknowledge Eyedea because there mainstream assholes making millions but this is real art in its purest form, there heads are probably so far up their asses they probably cant even relate to what Mikes talking about. All Jay Z, Kanye and Lil Wayne care about is their egos, bitches, and money.

  • @itsmedude1020 try eyedeas other albums (paricularly first born) check out atmosphere, sage francis and illogic as well

  • Wow this actually isn't bad at all. This is the closest I've found to true poetry within rap/hiphop so far. Anybody got any other reccomendations? I'm down to check out some more hiphop, I just want it to be on the really out there artistic side. The more the better.

  • @n0sjared Straight up. I always said I didn't like rap until recently. I'm huge into metal and shit but I like everything I find artistic really. I just found Eyedea tonight, and I think I like rap now. Blame Wayne, Kanye, and JayZ for making me hate rap.

  • man, eyedeas music on mushrooms is soooooo trippy..

  • Has anybody noticed that it says under the dislike bar that this song is Seagulls by Deadsy? haha

  • imo it doesn't have much to do with existentialism. Like a lot of Eyedea's stuff, it echos the thoughts of the situationist international. It's saying the poverty of life is caused by the rat race, not that it's subjective whether life is miserable.

  • @ssdd191 Doing some Existentialism based on Camus? I did some of that last semester. We also saw Heideggar and Sartre. Fun class, mads depressing at times.

  • Is the intro sample Jimi cuz if so Thank you for keeping it real, I love you.

  • i'm covering this topic in philosophy by comparing our lives to the myth of sisyphus, we are doing nothing but rolling a rock up and down a hill. this can be a depressing idea but to it all depends on if you give meaning to it. as long as what you do has meaning to you then you can see the brighter side. r.i.p micheal, you revolutionized hip hop.

  • Eyedea you my friend have not played on a bucked
