Passacaille d'Armide danced/reconstructed by Catherine Turocy, Artistic Director of The New York Baroque Dance Company (www.nybaroquedance.org) from the 1712 manuscript of Michel Gaudreau; choreography by Guillaume Louis Pecour for Marie-Therese Subligny. Music: Jean-Henri D'Anglebert (1629-1691) transcription for Harpsichord from Jean Baptiste Lully's opera, Armide (1686) played by James Richman, Artistic Director of Concert Royal in New York City and the Dallas Bach Society. This dance excerpt is taken from Dancetime Publications latest DVD, "Baroque Dance Unmasked: Workshop to Performance."
