Breaking the Batmobile at Monster Mania 2009

I was told everything in the Batmobile worked and to "make sure to touch everything, it all works, so play with all the buttons and such." A few key notes that I found out:

- be careful with the buttons on the dashboard, they do come off.
- the fire extinguisher is REAL, not a prop as I assumed.
- the parking break and shifts work so do NOT mess with those.


In short, I may not be allowed back in the Batmobile ever again. It was a really awesome car though. I just feel bad that it seemed to crumble under my touch.

Not all batmobile replicas are that fragile, but if you were given those instructions by the owner then you were more gentle then some that have sat in or on my car! Why would you think that the parking brake and shifter would NOT work, it's a car? But it is guys like you who thought it would be fun to push the limits that made me decide to no longer let anyone sit in my car unless it was someone I knew well. Too many people think it is their job to break something or flip every switch! :)
