2009: The Cinescape

When I was 14, the year (2006) came to an end and I realized how nostalgic I felt about everything that I was leaving behind: my last experiences with my middle school friends, an emotionally draining first semester of high school, and of course, all of the wonderful movies that were made during those 365 days. So I decided to make a montage that would honor all of the great movies that were released in 2006:

The video was not particularly successful (and, looking back, I kinda see why I was still an editing rookie at the time), but I decided to continue the tradition again when 2007 ended. And this time, with more refined skills and whatnot, I found more success:

So here we are, at the end of a momentous decade, and the personal significance this video holds with me - I made the first one around the time high school started, and I made this one as its approaching an end - makes me especially proud to present to you, for the fourth (but certainly not final) time, 2009: THE CINESCAPE.

Again WOW brilliantly edited to solute the films of 2009 to the motion picture industry people arts/crafts who worked on these films to see that they can be enjoyed by the cinema going public. I think you should do some 90’s look back and 80 and 70’s you have good knack at re-viewing and put the images to nice music.
