CAFO sweep video tutorial

you asked me - i did it. the video tutorial on how to play the sweep part from the beggining of CAFO by Animals As Leaders. here's a link to a tab:

there you will find a tab of my version of the sweep, and a version in Tosin Abasi's weird tuning for this song. His tuning is EBGDADB, and i played it in standart EBGDAEB. and sorry for bad english :p enjoy, rate, comment!

actually i think it might be easier to play the sweep pattern at the beginning not from the 7th to the 3rd, but a few frets down on higher strings

Good work. I watched the CAFO online lesson from Tosin on jamplay dot com and I can say that you made an excellent work. Yeah, Tosin plays in a Drop-D tuning, probably because of the tapping sections, but it doesn't matter. It's interesting to see someone playing sweeps and licks on the most difficult portion of the fretboard :) but, you know, the tone is really different :) Keep working and have a nice day :) greetings from Italy

@kinggeeblin but there is no 8 string in this song, it is played on 7 strings, even if you play it on an 8 string guitar)

it's funny, because when you speed it up to 1,000,000 bpm, you actually play it cleaner than when you play it slow...
