Ms Davis, What a superb job you are doing with this group. I've always admired your work with marching bands. If I can get my group to sound like that, my students would be very rpoud of me as a leader. Keep up the great work!

There are 5 band directors at South Panola, and they all work equally hard to make the band program what it is.  It isn't all on the shoulders of one person!

dude WTF!!! this is my School band music program.. its a shame... some of the things this band does is a little better than ours.. but its safe to say that our bands music sounds a lot more exiting

over the drill is really good props!! to you guys =)

@mssunflower71 I wasn't talking about actual cheating. Mr. Mac and Mr. Allen had a saying "We don't use electric guitars or electric anything in this band because it's cheating. It makes it too easy." Which is true. It makes things too easy. We never received less than a 5 in competition. Hot, do y'all even have band camp? Mississippi in July. 100 degree weather. Jesus, what has band come to.

@HurriXtreme actually it's not cheating becuz if it was we would hv been disquilfied!!!!!!!!!!! but we did rceice all ones!!!!!!!!!!! and den before dat we had a previous competition and they didn't say anything either!!!!!!!!!! and na a day skool aint even like it was bak in the day so u kno the band it's gnna be the same and den we didnt have as much tme out bcu it was so hot so once again dont dss the young ppl based on wat thhe old ppl did!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god, this is prime example why Mr. Mac shouldn't have retired. The use of electric guitars? That cheating. I miss the old band from back when I was in high school. We had 500 players and we sounded damn good. This is just naw dude.

way to go my guard members i know it was hard with the ten foot flags but you did it!!!!!! it's wierd though how now its a year later and we aren't nearly as good as last year lets make next year, my junior year better than ever!!!!!! yay us!!!!!!
