Turning Tourism Upside Down
For years tourists have received the warmest of welcomes to Rotorua's Ohinemutu Village.
Now, Shaloh Mitchell, a son of Ohinemutu is continuing that tradition - but with a twist.
He's charging a fee for tourist companies to enter Ohinemutu - and it's that small act that's threatening to turn Rotorua's $500 million dollar tourism industry upside down. Some free Maori Rotorua tourist venues will now charge a fee Marae TVNZ 18 Apr 2010.wmv
