Can't be that bad since first Jeff Lynne from Electric Light Orchestra made a version of it. Latest part of this story goes all the way to the Disney Corporation who uses an extremely similar chorus for their "Disney Dance Express" song. So don't say this song isn't a hit. The Doctor might not be, but the song definately is! And I agree that this version is by far the best!

I suppose this song is better than the others on this CD. But the production still reminds me too much of being "trapped in the mid 80s". Rock and roll had been chased off the airwaves by The New Wave. I was a teenager then and mainly listened to the 70s stations, so I could hear some friggin ROCK music!
This song, like the entire Doctor record, is unfairly dismissed as being crap. Strip away some of the dated mid-80s production, and it's a fantastic f_cking song and this is by far the best version. Incidentally it was written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly who wrote Alone for Heart and a ton of other huge hits. I'm still puzzled about why this song was not a hit. Oh, that's right, Epic Records sucks ass. Nevermind....
